Our Story
A group of midtown leaders started the Rockford Midtown Market on Saturday twice in 2018 and had a great response. We decided to have 15 weekly market dates in 2019, attracting almost 1,800 people into the Midtown District for these Saturday morning events. With the 2019 year’s success behind us, and with the COVID-19 situation altering our 2020-2022 plans a bit from what we were originally planning, we got back onto a more-regular Market for the 2023 Summer season and a 2023-24 Winter-Spring Indoor Market. We are now planning a weekly Rockford Midtown Market for 2024, which happens Thursday mornings from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m., beginning on Thursday, June 6 until Thursday, September 26, 2024 over 16 different Thursdays!
